The Ionian Islands located on the western side of mainland Greece, are seven main islands Corfu, Paxoi, Lefkada, Cephalonia, Ithaca, Zante and Kithira that distinguish from many of the Greek islands by their fertile land (blanketed with olive groves sustained by the winter rains) and clear blue waters. The mixture of different civilizations and cultures is harmoniously welded together into one piece that is undoubtedly Greek, in a complex of islands where the most beautiful beaches of the Mediterranean can be explored.

The wind and sailing conditions in the Ionian Sea are ideal and predictable. From May to September the wind blows from North-West at Force 2-5. In Spring and Autumn the wind is less strong and blows usually from South-West.

For making the most of your bareboat sailing in the Ionian islands, you need to carefully plan your itinerary. Greece has many popular sailing locations and marinas, but you do need to study how to navigate the Ionian islands. Read up on the islands when you decide that you want to take an Ionian islands yacht charter so that you will know exactly what you want to see and do.

To charter a bareboat yacht on your own for bareboat sailing, Greek bareboat charter regulations requires that you have a sailing certificate. If you don�t have such a certificate, you will need to have a letter from a school or an instructor stating that you have taken sailing lessons. With a yacht charter, Ionian Islands companies provide all equipment, linens, outboard motor and dinghy in the rental price of the bareboat yacht. Your fuel, provisions and travel insurance are not included in this price. You will also have to pay a security deposit for the yacht charter, just in case you cause any damage to the yacht. Once you return the yacht in the same condition as you received it, you will get this deposit refunded.

CANCELATION POLICY:
A) For bookings cancelled not later than 4 weeks before embarkation, 80% of the total amounts that have been paid will be refunded!
B) NO REFUNDS for bookings cancelled less than 4 weeks before embarkation!

REFUNDABLE GUARANTY:
Refundable guaranty deposit as per our price list will be collected upon embarkation in cash or credit card
Refundable guaranty is required even if the skipper is hired at extra cost. Personal checks are not accepted.
Charters usually commence on Saturday at 17:00 hr and end on Saturday at 09:00 hr (Friday evening return at the marina + overnight).
Other days of the week possible upon request.

DISCOUNTS:
up to 45 % For Early booking charters depending on availability (Valid till 31/01/2012)
up to 25% For charters booked after the 31/01/2012 depending on availability.

LONG TERM DISCOUNTS:
5% for 2 WKS - 10% for 3 WKS - 15% for 4 WKS

INCLUSIVE IN OUR PRICES:
VAT, Gas, Linen (1 set/person), Dinghy & Outboard engine on all yachts, Autopilot dinghy and outboard, bimini and spay hood

NOT INCLUSIVE IN OUR PRICES:
Fuel, Water, Provisions, 3% surcharge for payments by credit cards, port/Marina fees, canal dues, foreign water taxes.

SKIPPER FEES: 140 Euro/day

HOSTESS FEES: 120 Euro/day

ONE-WAY FEES:

Athens to {Dodecanese / Samos / Skiathos} 600 Euro

Cyclades: 400 Euro,

Ionian: 800 Euro.

In-between Dodecanese-Samos: 400 Euro

In-between Ionian: 400 Euro.
