Gouvia Marina in Corfu, the first privately owned marina in Greece, is situated about 6 kilometers from the town of Corfu and 7 kilometres from the International Airport. For many years seamen considered the harbor and the bay of Gouvia as a natural link between the Adriatic and the Mediterranean Sea as well as a port of call, where they could sail in, to repose, enjoying the climate and the beauties of the island.
In the 17th century Venetian seamen selected the area of Gouvia as an ideal location for creating a naval station and shipyards, remains of which have survived in the region. This tradition has been maintained until today while sailing yachts and motor boats from all over the world arrive at Gouvia Marina, enjoying the beauties of the sea and the environment, the cool breeze and the beautiful island of Corfu.

The Gouvia Marina, fully organized, offering facilities and services of high standards, has been operating under the new management since 1996. The total capacity is 1100 berths, on both permanent and floating pontoons, while there are dry dock facilities for approximately 520 boats. Moorings are available for boats up to 80 meters long and with 5.5 meters draught, for short or long term periods.

The marina operates all year round on a 24-hour basis. Two green and two red lights mark the approach channel to the marina and all boats are required to call the marina on the VHF, channel 69 in order to receive instructions. The marina's boat and personnel will provide all necessary assistance. After your arrival, you have to check in at the reception office where you will also be informed about all the details concerning your stay.

CANCELATION POLICY:
A) For bookings cancelled not later than 4 weeks before embarkation, 80% of the total amounts that have been paid will be refunded!
B) NO REFUNDS for bookings cancelled less than 4 weeks before embarkation!

REFUNDABLE GUARANTY:
Refundable guaranty deposit as per our price list will be collected upon embarkation in cash or credit card
Refundable guaranty is required even if the skipper is hired at extra cost. Personal checks are not accepted.
Charters usually commence on Saturday at 17:00 hr and end on Saturday at 09:00 hr (Friday evening return at the marina + overnight).
Other days of the week possible upon request.

DISCOUNTS:
up to 45 % For Early booking charters depending on availability (Valid till 31/01/2012)
up to 25% For charters booked after the 31/01/2012 depending on availability.

LONG TERM DISCOUNTS:
5% for 2 WKS - 10% for 3 WKS - 15% for 4 WKS

INCLUSIVE IN OUR PRICES:
VAT, Gas, Linen (1 set/person), Dinghy & Outboard engine on all yachts, Autopilot dinghy and outboard, bimini and spay hood

NOT INCLUSIVE IN OUR PRICES:
Fuel, Water, Provisions, 3% surcharge for payments by credit cards, port/Marina fees, canal dues, foreign water taxes.

SKIPPER FEES: 140 Euro/day

HOSTESS FEES: 120 Euro/day

ONE-WAY FEES:

Athens to {Dodecanese / Samos / Skiathos} 600 Euro

Cyclades: 400 Euro,

Ionian: 800 Euro.

In-between Dodecanese-Samos: 400 Euro

In-between Ionian: 400 Euro.
